The Bangkok International Motor Show

The very first show was held in Lumpini Park in central Bangkok in 1979.There after it's popularity it has changed it's show location to Amphon Gardens where the motor show was continued to be held till 1997. Then in 1998 saw the show move to its present location at BITEC, Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre. BITEC exhibition got enough space to park your vehicles which can be around 4,000 numbers.

This annual motor show event attracts millions of visitors and 100's of auto manufactures and features the concept and latest production cars and motorcycles. The show also allow large number of activities including rallies to off road competitions, tuning car contests to car audio shows and a wide variety of cars on show from local clubs.

Motor Show 2009
Green life on wheels will be this year theme for the Thailand motor show. This year event is expected to attract nearly 1.6 million people according to the organizers. Over 130 motor manufactures from 11 countries are expected to participate in this event. Many branded car companies are to unveil their latest models here in Bangkok. And the sales are expected to be around 15,000 at the show.

Tickets are priced at 100 Thai Baht.
Students with uniform are allowed free entrance to the show.
