Japan Moto show

The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JAMA; Chairman: Satoshi Aoki) has made some amendments to the 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009 to be held this fall

Show Dates
The show will be held for a period of 13 days from Friday, October 23 to Wednesday, November 4, 2009; public viewing begins on Saturday, October 24. (Excludes 2 Press Days.)
Note that the period has been shortened by 4 days. In the press release of April 21, 2008 the show was set to run for 17 days from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, November 8, 2009. It is now the same length as the 37th show held in 2003.

Changes to exhibitor categories and reductions in exhibition space
It has been decided to cancel the large commercial vehicle and vehicle body sections, thereby making it possible to hold the show in a compact format.
