BUSAN, Korea - April 29, 2010: Hyundai Motor Co. had its world-premier of the all-new Avante compact sedan, the company's best-selling model worldwide, at the Busan International Motor Show 2010 today. (Outside of Korea the Avante is known as Elantra) "The new Avante encompasses Hyundai's latest ambitions, featuring the best styling and performance in its class," Steve S. Yang, President & CEO of Hyundai's Global Business Division, said at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) today. 2011 Hyundai Elantra Unveiled

BUSAN, South Korea — Hyundai unveiled its redesigned Avante compact here at the 2010 Busan Auto Show. Its best-selling model worldwide, the new Avante — sold in global markets as the Elantra — will feature the company's 1.6-liter Gamma gasoline direct-injection four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. The new sedan is expected to arrive in the U.S. later this year, badged as the 2011 Elantra.

Some notable car brands will be absent from the 2010 Tulsa International Auto Show this weekend, including Chevrolet, BMW and Volkswagen.
